About me
Pronouns: she/her
I began my journey in the world of psychology where I received my Associates of Arts degree at Saddleback Community College. I transitioned into the University of California, Santa Barbara, where I earned my Bachelor's of Arts degree in Psychology and Minor in Applied Psychology. It was during those formative years that I discovered my passion for working with children, adolescents, and families.
I decided to take my commitment to the next level and pursued a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at Pepperdine University. This provided me with a strong foundation to help individuals and families navigate the complexities of their lives.
My journey continued with a series of internships and experiences, where I had the privilege of working with young minds. I embarked on an internship that focused on providing prevention, intervention, and counseling programs for at-risk youth and their families. It was a transformative experience that solidified my dedication to this field.
I took my passion to new heights by joining an outpatient program that specializes in supporting families with children and adolescents with moderate to severe mental illnesses. The work I do there has allowed me to make a positive impact on young lives, ranging from birth to 21 years old.
I am dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, and families in overcoming the hurdles of conflict, fostering self-esteem, and navigating the unique experiences within the LGBTQ community. Let me be your ally on this journey, offering the guidance and support you seek.
