Self-esteem

In therapy geared towards enhancing self-esteem in children and adolescents, a client-centered approach provides a nurturing and empathetic space for exploration and self-discovery. Through this approach, it will encourage open communication, active listening, and unconditional positive regard, allowing young individuals to freely express their thoughts and emotions. By acknowledging and validating their experiences, a foundation for improved self-esteem is established. My aim of employing client-centered techniques empower youth to explore their unique strengths, fostering a sense of self-worth. This collaborative process promotes confidence, resilience, and a positive self-image, contributing to overall emotional well-being. Children and adolescence can be challenging, with facing unique issues such as dealing with grief, healing from trauma, managing depression and anxiety, and addressing low self-esteem. I offer a compassionate and non-judgmental space for them to openly express themselves, explore concerns, and work towards positive change.
